About Professor Nicolaos Protogeros

Dr. Nicolaos Protogeros is an Associate professor of e-commerce and information systems at the Macedonia University of Thessaloniki (Greece). He received a PhD in computer networks from the National Polytechnic Institute (France), an MSc in remote sensing from the University Paul Sabatier (France), and a bachelor degree in mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece).

Since 2010, he is Vice chairman of the Information Systems Postgraduate Program at the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. He has 15 years of working experience in the private sector specializing in information technology and electronic commerce applications and over 15 years of teaching experience.

He has been the project leader for many research and development projects in the area of Web- based technologies, software agents, and virtual organizations.

Dr. Protogeros has published over 85 peer-reviewed papers and 2 scientific books. His current research and teaching activities are concerned with the implementation and application of e-commerce systems to support inter-organizational collaboration and virtual enterprises.

About Dr. Katerina Tzafilkou

Dr. Aikaterini Tzafilkou is a freelancer cooperative member. She received a Ph.D. in Information Systems, an M.S. in Information Systems and a B.S. in International and European Studies from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki.

Her research interests are:Analysis, design and development of web-based End User Development software with a special emphasis on addressing behavioural HCI and gender based aspects as these appear during the interaction with IT systems.
Her research subareas include: user modelling, mouse tracking, eye tracking, user experience.

She also has web development experience in building and customizing WordPress, Drupal and Joomla websites and eshops. PHP-MySQL, HTML-CSS-JavaScript.

About Dr. Adamantios Koumpis

Dr. Adamantios Koumpis is a freelancer cooperative member. His previous job position was at the Institute of Computer Science, FORTH, at Heraklio, Crete, where he worked at the Rehabilitation Tele-Informatics and Human-Computer Interaction Group in several EC RTD projects (RACE, ACTS and TAP).

He is author of research papers, technical reports and Project deliverables and has successfully lead many industrial and European research projects in the areas of E-Commerce, public sector and business enterprise re-organisation and information logistics, concerning linking of data/information repositories with knowledge management and business engineering models.

Adamantios holds a PhD degree from the University of Kingston, UK and a Bachelor degree from the University of Crete, Greece.
